They come up with another senseless problem: "some of the imported flowers withered and the rest are fully-bloomed." do the center islands need that short-lived imported flowers of which we all knew was expensive? i guess, center islands need plants that can withstand the heat of the midday sun. a simple landscape will do. they can also hang beautiful/colorful home-grown potted flowers in the lamp-post as an accent.
The well-known Waikiki beach have the fruitless coconut tree with the neatly-trimmed bermuda grass under it, there's the plumeria (kalachuchi), the hawaiian hibiscus(yellow gumamela), the san francisco and other inexpensive plants. Yet, it is well-known for it's spirit of aloha, the hula dance and the big surf.
So, let's be like Hawaii. Let the delegates feel the Cebuanos' filipino hospitality, the Sinulog dance experience and the taste of cebu's famous lechon. These are purely "sariling atin" of which we can be proud of.

It's clear that the one who posted "nakakahiya" is not from Cebu. So his/her envy is understandable. But we're Cebuanos. Let's be proud. If the Tagalogs and the other regional groupings are envious, that's their problem. |

hilas hilas lang sila sa mga mata sa mga rich country luxus pa and preparation morag kinsa dato nga nasod. para nako mas malipay ug makadaig kon ang preparation normal ug not too extravagant instead spent the fund which is from people taxes. and filipino people desrve prope clean hich tech government hospital , drainage. na dili mag baha ang cebu kon mag ulan .-presentable public and national high school . hygenic toilet. livilihood programs . descen homes canalization sa mga human dirt. sus pag ka daghan angya tagaan ug gatos. kana maka pang hambug pa ug mo appreciate pa and mga participant sa summit , show them the real philippines and dont just cover it temporary sercastic luxus entertainment.magpaka dato man ug mag pahambog.

Ang postponement sa ASEAN Summit is not because of the following: Terrorism. Typhoon. Political storm. Building not finished. Leaking roof.
The reason is "PAGBU-OT SA DIOS"

ASEAN SUMMIT: I am very proud that the SUMMIT is going to be held here in cebu next month, malaki ang maitutulong ng ASEAN SUMMIT d2 sa atin ,dapat hindi tayo mag react,kahit hindi natutuloy okey lang kahit ng hihinayang tayo. May araw pa tayo para maipaganda ang CICC saka para rin sa up coming SINULOG FESTIVAL ...
About LEAKS SA CICC: its not easy to build that CICC...
LEts pray that the up coming ASEAN SUMMIT and SINULOG will be successful....dont blame the cebuanos..Lahat tayo ay hindi perfecto ..kaya wag kayong magmarunong!!!..

i believe the main reason why he summit was postponed is because of impending terror attack.how could anyone believe that such typhoon that would not hit central cebu would hamper the summit affairs

ASEAN SUMMIT a threat to EURO and U.S Economy not terrorists!
Our regional development sometimes is dependent on the cohesiveness of the countries in a particular region. Summit is one way or the other helps promote such agenda among Asian countries. I believe European countries and the U.S. would do anything like issuing travel advisories to block our development. The economic success of EURO is something westerners fear that ASEAN might emulate. Can you smell the CONSPIRACY?
