Organized by Quota International Pampanga under the leadership of President Vilma Caluag, the Terakathon aimed at raising funds for the social programs of the group for women empowerment and services to impoverished children and abused women.
Some 150 guests and participants trooped to the dance floor under the steady guide of Fitness First instructors. Imagine people from all walks of life, young and old dancing to the tune of the psychedelic 60s and contemporary music.
“This is a benefit dance event and we are very happy that many women and even men have come here to dance with us. The money raised here will surely go a long way for our social projects,” Caluag said.
Finger foods were also an added feature of the event where participants can take a pick of the best low calorie food. Caluag said aside from the fund raiser component, the Terakathon also brings together awareness to one's health and the responsibility to stay healthy.
