MOTOR oil and lubricants from Voltronic – a proven and trusted brand in Germany – have finally arrived in the Philippines.

The first shipment arrived at the LausGroup compound on October 8, 2009 and was received by LausGroup key executives and officers. On hand to see the maiden shipment were Mr. Eryx M. Guiang, Aftersales Director for the LausAutoGroup, Mr. Ally Manalese, Operations Manager for Voltronic Philippines, Ms. Carisa Laus-Manalili, Asst. Vice President for Marketing, and Ms. Kristine D. Tayag, Asst. Manager for Laus Marketing Corporation, among other key executives.

The Laus Group, named as the leading multi-brand automotive dealer in the country by a top British auto magazine Top Gear recently, is the national distributor of Votronic products in the Philippines.

“This is truly exciting and forward-looking moment for the Laus Group,” Manalili said. Voltronic motor oil and lubricants will soon make its presence felt beginning here in Pampanga, and ultimately across Central Luzon and then the country, she added.

Voltronic products are manufactured and packed entirely in Germany, with facilities that are ISO 9001:2000 certified, meeting global quality standards. It boasts of 45 years experience in motor oil, lubricants and care products. These products also include greases, coolants, additives, chemicals and aerosols that are ozone-friendly since they do not contain chloro-fluoro carbons (CFC) harmful to the atmosphere.

The products are widely used and accredited by major European manufactures.

Manalili said the LausGroup’s new venture as a nationwide distributor now gives new light to an otherwise common conception; that new, innovative and high grade products from abroad always arrive and begin in Metropolitan Manila, eventually moving outward to saturate the provinces and outer regions.

“Now, a provincial based enterprise is able to achieve that, and certainly is a valid reason why countryside commerce should look up,” she said.
