The P4.5 million covered court was constructed upon the request of residents here to have their own facility to conduct formal gatherings and recreational activities for the village.
“Our personal commitment to erect covered courts for the whole district will soon be realized as we are down to a handful of barangays waiting to have their own covered courts. For this village, we are always willing to extend our support for infrastructure projects,” Gonzales said.
Gonzales acknowledged President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's support for the various infrastructure projects in his district, including the construction of the San Jose Malino–Anao Bridge, the completion of various covered courts and rehabilitation of Quezon Road.
“Improvements of vital facilities in this village and the whole of Mexico is important in propelling the town as a major spillover investment area for businesses in the City of San Fernando and Clark Freeport,” Gonzales said.
