BACOLOR – Twenty-one young, talented and intelligent ladies are vying for the prestigious title of Miss Bacolor 2009.
Mayor Romeo “Buddy” Dungca Jr. told Sun.Star Pampanga on Friday that all barangays in this town will be represented by their individual candidates.

Dungca said that since the pageant started in 2002, winners of the Miss Bacolor tilt have moved on to win in the Mutya Ning Kapampangan and other beauty pageants.
He said winners of this year’s pageant will be given scholarship grants and a lot of prizes courtesy of sponsors and supporters.
“Mas pinalaki at mas pinaganda namin ang Miss Bacolor 2009 pagent, sa tulong ng atin chairperson Artus David at official director na si Peter De Vera, siguradong mag eenjoy ang mga kababayan natin dito sa Bacolor,” Dungca said.
Meanwhile, Ron Dungca, eldest son of the mayor who is also the host of CLTV-36 program “Aldong Maningning” said that Bacolorenos will have a chance to cheer for their respective candidates during the up-coming pre-pageant on November 7 at SM City Pampanga and the Coronation Night on November 14 at the Bacolor Sports Gym.
The younger Dungca said that candidates will be competing in the talent, casual dress, native costumes, swimsuit competitions and question and answer portion.
“Gusto natin ipamalas sa gaganapin na Miss Bacolor na hindi lamang magaganda at talented ang mga candidates, kundi matalino rin sila. Likas ito sa ma katangian ng isang babaing Bacolorena,” Dungca said.
David, chairperson of the pageant said that candidates are aged 15 to 21 and the tallest among them has a height of 5’10”.

Castro (Talba); Hazel Czarina Y. Pineda (Parulog); Mary Joy M. Galang (Tinajero); Camille C. De Jesus (Cabetican); Shara Jane T. Montemayor (Concepcion); Jinky A. Dimabuyu (San Antonio); Erica M. David (Mesalipit); Vivian Jaymee N. Yabut (Sta. Ines); Bridgette Dawn M. Caduco ( Cabambangan); Fatima Karla F. Ferreras (Magliman) ;Rosalina L. Figueroa (San Isidro); Rachelle S.
