Employment for typhoon victims

VICTIMS of typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng were prioritized during the third Foreign Chambers Employment Expo 2009 at Market Market, Fort Bonifacio Taguig City Friday.

With more than 50 participating companies, which mostly are members of the foreign chambers, the employment expo designated access lanes to job seekers from areas badly hit by the two typhoons.

All they have to do is register their name, address and other important information at the booth.

Most of the registrants are from Marikina, Cainta, Taguig, and Pasig.

According to the organizers, as of Friday, they already had more than a thousand applicants who registered at the employment expo.

Participating companies are from the Telecommunication, Health and Wellness, BPOs, Properties and IT industries.

Technical as well as Executive jobs are available at the jobs fair.

Headhunters are also present at the venue looking for people beyond those industries.

About 3,000 available jobs await jobseekers who will participate in the employment expo.
