GOVERNOR Niel Tupas Sr. has directed the Iloilo Provincial Police Office (Ippo) to investigate the alleged assassination plot by the Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Buncayao Brigade (RPA-ABB) in Tigbauan and Oton towns.
According to Tupas, he received information that the said group is in a mission of conducting assassination plot under the group of "Ka Macky."

Special fund not for tertiary schools
THE City Treasurer's Office stressed that the Special Education Fund (SEF) of the City Government is intended for the interest of 51 elementary, 11 city high schools, and a vocational technical institute as provided in the local government code and not to fund a tertiary level school.
