That’s right, Kidsters! There are ways on how not to get angry at our classmates, siblings, elders, helpers, or even at our pets. Another way of saying it is there are ways on how to control our emotions.

Even when I am already this age, I still find it hard to control my temper or not get angry, especially when others really make you lose your patience. A relative of mine who lives in the U.S. and is a military man, sent me an email giving tips on how to control emotions.

Cousin Vikthor Festin calls it “the rules of practicing ‘ugaling langit, ugaling kaaya-aya.” To translate in English, heaven-like manner, well-liked manner. Read the rest…

Poetry: LIFE

Poems No Comments

Life is a creation of God
Life is important
Try to save it
It will never come back.

All people will die
But don’t do it for one simple reason
Enjoy life
Or you will suffer in hell.

Some people will die at very young age
Because life is precious
So right now, try to do something good
So you have a chance to go in heaven.

Life doesn’t mean that if you’re good you will die early
It depends on what will happen
I tell you all people will die
In the right time.

The importance of using polite words

Opinion No Comments

God created us so that we could be loving to one another. When we use polite words, it means respecting and loving people.

We learn how to care and people will be kind to us. By being polite, our wishes will come true or be granted.

We make people smile and be happy. There is peace around us. There will be no war and no killings. And the world will be a better place for everyone.
