Patriots' coach worried with Baclao's injury

COACH Louie Alas is reported to be deeply concerned with the physical condition of forward Siverino "Nonoy" Baclao and guard Christian Coronel who are both bothered by hamstring injury.

It was reported that the coach has reportedly figured out the way to stop Singapore's vaunted offense in the Asean Basketball League (ABL).

Alas said Thursday in Manila the case of the 6'4" former Ateneo and West Negros University stalwart is day-to-day.

Baclao reportedly wants to play on Saturday when the Patriots clash against the Slingers at The Arena in San Juan but Alas said he will have to assess the Negrense's condition.

The Slingers beat the Patriots, 74-69, the last time they met and the slingers roared to their fourth straight triumph by thumping the Indons, 96-72, to remain the only unbeaten team in the six-nation tournament using a home-and-away format.
